How to Get Rid of Mosquitoes

There are about 3,000 species of mosquitoes known globally, and upwards of 200 of them can be found in the United States. One of the notable things about many of these species is that they breed in standing water. 

So, to limit the number of mosquitoes making their home in and around your home, business, or other property, identify any areas of stagnant water -- such as trash cans, air conditioner drip pans, birdbaths, and fountains, or even areas that puddle when it rains. Also, make sure there are no leaky faucets or pipes outside. Another way to fight mosquitoes is to keep the grass and bushes on your property cut back, especially during warmer months when mosquitoes breed… and feed.
